Thank you to all the members for helping to make our first year such a success!

While many of our members will be renewing for the next season, the WH Community Garden will be looking for new members, too.

We will accept applications for new members beginning in February 2015. Check back here for application forms on Feb. 1.

GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION on MAY 24 with Superintendent of Schools Neil Cavallaro, WHCG President Marilyn Wilkes, and Mayor Ed O’Brien.

West Haven Community Garden (WHCG) is an all-volunteer organization, dedicated to the promotion of locally grown, organic produce. It is located behind Molloy School at 255 Meloy Road. WHCG has plots available for gardening in 2014 from May 1 to October 31.

The WHCG is a 501c3 non-profit, non-partisan, and non-discriminatory. As a multi-cultural and multi-generational program, it will provide West Haven residents with the opportunity to meet people and create community, get exercise through gardening, learn new skills, enrich the environment, and grow nutritious food for themselves, food banks, and local charitable organizations.
